Everything You Need to Start Teaching with Liberty Education

Liberty Education is designed to make good teaching easier, clearer, and more consistent. You have a structured curriculum, learning objectives, Teacher Guides, activities, and digital resources to support you—but you still have the flexibility to teach according to the needs of your students.

You don't have to create a preschool curriculum yourself. We give you the roadmap. You bring it to life.

1. Do I need Early Childhood Education (ECE) credentials?

No.

ECE training is valuable, but Liberty Education is designed so that teachers without formal ECE credentials can successfully use the curriculum.

The Teacher Guides provide structure, learning objectives, activities, and practical guidance. You don't have to guess what to teach or invent a program from scratch.

If you're an experienced teacher, you'll also find plenty of flexibility to adapt and extend the lessons.

2. Where do I begin?

Start with your assigned level and follow the curriculum's Units and Lessons in sequence.

The sequence matters because skills and concepts develop progressively.

Within each lesson, however, you have flexibility. Choose activities and determine how much time to spend according to the learning objectives, your students' readiness, and your classroom situation.

3. What am I expected to teach?

The curriculum makes this clear.

Each section provides learning objectives that tell you what skills, knowledge, or development you are working toward.

Think of the objective as your destination.

Your activities are the route you take to get there.

4. Do I have to use every activity?

No.

Activities support the learning objectives. You can select the activities that are most appropriate for your students.

A class that understands a concept quickly may move forward. Another class may need additional practice, repetition, movement, discussion, or hands-on activities.

Follow the curriculum sequence, but teach the children in front of you.

5. How long should I spend on a lesson?

There is no single answer for every classroom.

Your decision should be based on the learning objectives and your students' progress and readiness.

A lesson or activity may take one session, several sessions, or require additional reinforcement.

The objective is learning—not simply finishing pages.

6. What resources are available to help me?

The curriculum combines printed materials with the Digital Curriculum Library/LMS.

Depending on the lesson, teachers can access resources such as:

• flashcards

• audio and video

• supplementary classroom resources

This gives you both offline classroom materials and online teaching support.

7. What if my students learn at different speeds?

That's normal—and the curriculum is designed with flexibility in mind.

You can simplify an activity, repeat it, provide more hands-on practice, work with a smaller group, or extend the activity for students who are ready for more.

The goal is not for every child to learn in exactly the same way or at exactly the same speed.

The goal is to help each child progress toward the learning objectives.

8. Is Liberty mostly worksheets and textbooks?

No.

The books provide structure, but preschool children learn through interaction, conversation, movement, play, exploration, creativity, and hands-on experiences.

Liberty combines structured early literacy and numeracy with STEAM, creative arts, physical development, communication, and social-emotional learning.

The curriculum is about developing the whole child, not simply completing a workbook.

9. What if I don't have many classroom materials?

That's okay.

Many activities can be taught using ordinary resources such as paper, crayons, blocks, toys, classroom objects, music, movement, conversation, and the environment around you.

Good early childhood education does not require an expensive classroom.

Good objectives, good activities, and an engaged teacher matter much more.

10. Can AI help me adapt a lesson?

Yes.

Liberty's AI-assisted tools can help you develop additional activities, simplify or extend instruction, brainstorm ideas, or adapt a lesson to your particular classroom.

For example, you might ask:

"Give me another activity for this learning objective using only objects available in my classroom."

Or:

"Some of my students need more practice with this skill. Give me three simple reinforcement activities."

AI is there to assist your teaching—not replace your judgment or your relationship with your students.

11. What if a lesson doesn't work well with my class?

Change your approach.

Try a different activity, use smaller groups, add movement, introduce real objects, repeat the concept another day, or ask the AI assistant for another way to address the same objective.

Teaching is not about perfectly following a script.

The curriculum gives you structure. Your professional judgment makes it work in your classroom.

12. What is the most important thing to remember?

You are not expected to do everything at once.

Follow the sequence. Know the learning objective. Choose appropriate activities. Observe your students. Adapt when necessary.
